Here’s What Some Of Our Students Say

“Nam Pai Chuan has taught me that there is more to Kung Fu than just learning ‘the moves’, it is about learning inner self-confidence, respect for others and most importantly, being able to keep a clear, calm yet controlled frame of mind in the situations I am presented with inside and outside the system.”
– Jerald Yutaka Chan

“Kung Fu helped me focus at University and I finished with a Business degree AND a degree in Kung Fu.”
– Simon Billington

“I’d never done a martial art before and got the idea from a friend who loved “The Matrix.” I wanted to get fit, learn self defence, and have more confidence. I vividly remember doing these “strange” press-ups in my first class. I remember being able to do about 10 before my arms refused to lift me off the ground again. But I’m happy to say that changed quickly and soon I was amazing myself with how physically fit and strong I’d become.”
– Craig Dewe

How Much Does It Cost?

This is our passion (not a business) and so we keep our prices low to share the art. Each location has slightly different pricing based on their costs. Here’s how it works when you get started:

Step 1 – Try It Out
The first class is free and then the next two are at our casual rate. This let’s you to see what we have to offer and make sure you’re having a good time.

Step 2 – Register
To join, your annual registration fee is $60 and that goes to our headquarters.

Step 3 – Continue Training
We expect students to train twice a week (although sometimes you need to start off with one class). Your club will have a block fee available to save you money on the casual rate.

Your First Class

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the class starts. This allows us to meet with you to explain a little about our history and how the class operates, then pair you up with a training buddy.
  • New people are paired with a senior to ensure they get the best attention during the class.
  • Wear loose fitting long pants and a plain t-shirt. No shorts, singlet tops, or offensive markings/alcohol ads.
  • Bring a drink bottle for quick water breaks.
  • Lastly, if you come with an open mind and a good attitude, we’re sure you’ll enjoy yourself.

We welcome you to your own martial arts journey.
